Who We Are

Hey, Hello, welcome, bienvenue, willkomen and salutations! Welcome to our Blog!!

So you all know, this blog will be written by 3 people. La-Keish, Ed and myself (David). We are 3rd year London Met Students studying Event Management. In this blog we will be bringing you news and interesting info about the event industry. We hope to show you the different elements that are needed to bring together a great "Events, event"! We shall mainly be using the International Confex and Live Experience Event as a basis of exploration, focusing on some of its individual parts to show what makes it tick.

We Hope you enjoy viewing the page, drop us a line at any time!

  1. Hi everyone!
Ed here, just to let you know a bit about myself. As David said I'm also in my final year studying events management. During my time working in events management, I have been involved in events of all shapes and sizes, from pub barbecues to music festivals and charity evenings to museum exhibitions all the way to my current place of work where I am in the operations team at the Royal Society of Medicine.
I'm going to be looking mainly at the International Confex and aspects of that which hopefully will be able to assist you, the reader with your event, business, networking or just general interest. Look forward to reading your posts on the matter!

  2. Hi All,

As you probably noticed, my name is David and I've mainly been looking at general ideas about networking, seminars and technology within the context of business events.

In terms of a bit more about me, I split my time between managing events and working in events security. Both of which are very interesting fields and get me introductions to various professionals within the field.

If you want to find out more about me, feel free to get in touch or check out my LinkedIn profile, I've posted a link earlier this month.

  3. Hi everyone,

Im La-keish, as mentioned before I am a final year events management student. I have been involved in various types of events from trade shows to dinner parties.

In this blog I've been looking at the comparison side, aiming to give examples of some international events just to give a different perspective on things.

Will be looking forward to all your comments :)
